Abstract:On March 17 and 18, 1995, the Health Education Program at the University of New Mexico transmitted this 2-day interactive teleconference. The purpose of the conference was to focus experiences, information, and groups on the need for implementing prevention models that address the complexity of rural communities with culturally diverse populations. This video tape presents three of the five sessions which were transmitted on Saturday, March 18, 1995. These sessions were: Culturally-competent Prevention Programs that Work, the Panel Response, and Closing Remarks.
