:
This fact sheet presents statistics regarding smokeless tobacco use among youth and the dangerous effects of using this drug. Some facts given include: "Between 1970 and 1986, the use of snuff increased 15 times and the use of chewing tobacco increased four times among male adolescents ages 17-19," and "40% of high school users believe there is only a slight risk in smokeless tobacco use."
