Abstract:This fact sheet presents facts about youth access to tobacco. Some facts given include: "Of the estimated 13.9 million 12- 17 year olds who have not smoked a cigarette, about 62% believe it would be easy for them to get cigarette;" and "Among youths 12-17 years old who usually buy their own cigarettes, about 85% often or sometimes buy them from a small store, 50% buy them from a large store, and 15% buy them from a vending machine."
